Meet the team in Hove

Chris Sawyer

Born in Brighton, Chris began his career in 1988 for a small local independent agent. Following on from that he worked for a large chain of estate agents where he progressed to a senior management level.

In 1996 Chris co-launched Tingleys Estate Agents which became one of the cities most respected independent companies.

Following his acquisition of Tingleys Estate Agents, Sawyer & Co was launched.

An avid Brighton & Hove Albion supporter, Chris lives in Brighton and is married with 2 daughters.

Dominique Scott

Senior Negotiator

After a successful career in the music industry, Dominique moved to live in Hove from London in 2005 with her husband and 2 children.

She joined the company that same year and has been an integral part of our team ever since. She has a natural flair for selling or letting properties. The enjoyment that she takes in her job as well as her passion for property is very evident for our clients to see.

Dominique is also a keen tennis player.

Lee Cook

Senior Negotiator

Born in Gloucester, Lee's early career was in the hospitality industry. He took a year out, and travelled Europe, Australia and New Zealand before returning to the UK. He settled in Hove and joined the company in 2005. He has adapted quickly to the industry and has excellent social and communication skills and is now a very capable estate agent.

Lee is keen to maintain his high standard of customer care, and his enthusiasm for the job is as strong as ever. Lee is married, lives in Hove and is a keen distance runner and a big rugby fan.

Lee Cooper

Senior Negotiator

Born in Brighton Lee's early career was in insurance and accounts before joining the company in 2006.

Lee is a superb all rounder with a tenacious, hard working, pro-active approach. Lee's friendly/genuine approach has led to many testimonials. Lee shows attention to detail in his work and is a first class negotiator and sales progressor.

Lee lives in Brighton and enjoys socialising and singing.

Jeremy Whittingham

Letting Portfolio Manager

Jeremy has been an estate agent in the Brighton & hove area for the last 9 years and joined the company in 2007.

He possesses excellent organization skills, and works long hours to ensure our landlords and tenants needs are looked after.

Jeremy has a wealth of experience and has been instrumental in setting up our lettings department. Our approach to lettings has meant that our company has very broad appeal with us handling flats and houses across the city.

Jeremy is a keen distance runner and classic car enthusiast.

He lives in Portslade with his partner Carly.

Joan Colquhoun

Sale Negotiator

Joan is a valued member of staff and joined the company 12 years ago. Highly experienced, Joan has now been working locally as an estate agent for 20 years.

As a well liked character Joan's commitment, enthusiasm and enjoyment in her work are frequently mentioned by our clients.

A mother and grandmother, Joan lives in Hove and is a bridge player.
